Booking terms

Booking terms for purchase and participation in scheduled trips. Scheduled trips are all activities with fixed departures as published on our website.

Booking confirmation

The order is binding when you have received confirmation from Seasafari Øksnes that payment has been received. Seasafari Øksnes is then responsible for delivering the products/experiences you have ordered, while you become financially responsible for the order. At the moment you make a order, you also confirm that you have the authority to accept on behalf of yourself and any traveling party. You accept responsibility for payment being made to us for all travelers in your party. You are responsible for ensuring that the reservation is in accordance with the order. You will be responsible for ensuring that everyone in your party is kept fully informed of what has been ordered and of any changes.

Cancellation

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before departure for the activity. The amount paid will be refunded in full. For cancellations less than 48 hours before departure, no refund can be expected.

Description of execution

Seasafari Øksnes reserves the right to change trips and programs due to weather conditions. All programs and trips may be changed or canceled for safety reasons. In the event of cancellation on our part, the amount paid will be refunded in full. The participant who has booked the trip will mainly be contacted by e-mail (or telephone) registered in the booking. It is therefore important that the participant checks their e-mail regularly for messages.

Responsibility

Participants must have current travel insurance. Seasafari Øksnes cannot be held responsible for losses and additional costs due to delays beyond the company's control such as strikes, accidents, illness or other circumstances that fall under force majeure. Seasafari Øksnes is not responsible for valuables brought by the customer, such as bags, glasses, camera/phone, clothes, etc.

Customer's obligation

Participants are responsible for assessing whether they are physically and mentally fit to participate in booked trips. The customer must comply with the rules and instructions given by the organizer.

Seasafari Øksnes reserves the right to refuse participation in a trip if the customer is a threat to safety, either to themselves or the other participants, or if the customer behaves in such a way that he/she is a great shyness to the other participants.

Participants on our trips confirm with their reservation that there are no medical reasons to doubt their participation in the described program. Instructions given from our staff/guides must be followed. In cases where this is not followed, our staff has the right to reject the participant from further participation in the trip. In such cases, the participant will not be entitled to a refund.

In the event that a participant cancels their participation in a trip or program at their own request less than 48 hours before departure, they are not entitled to a refund.

Disputes

Any disputes between the customer and Seasafari Øksnes are subject to the jurisdiction of local courts where Seasafari Øksnes AS is located.
