Seasafari Øksnes is a family-owned company that delivers nature-based experiences and offers transport of passengers. With long experience and natural science knowledge, we want to convey great experiences from the outside of Øksnes and area Stokmarknes/Stokmarknes/Bø and Trollfjord.
Safety, service and a responsible approach to nature is our first priority! Boat drivers have safety training and approved certificates for the transport of up to 12 passengers. We have good local knowledge and are keenly interested in birds and animals along the coast.
Safety
We focus on safety and all departures are therefore assessed in relation to the weather and the weather outlook. Our safety routines are reviewed before departure and all passengers are issued with approved life jackets and life jackets. The boats are equipped with navigation systems, radio equipment and other required safety equipment.
Boats
Our three boats Polarcirkel Diving 785, 845 and Polarcirkel Adventure 860 are equipped with 300, 2×200 and 2×200 HP of the Yahama type. The boats are certified for 12 Pax per boat + driver, and we have capacity for up to 36 passengers(Maximum 80 pax). The boats are robust and very well suited to the conditions on the “outside”.
