“Simply amazing: the support and information, the people's love for birds, sea lions and whales. We were lucky enough to see whales; an unforgettable experience.”

“Today we went on a puffin and seal safari and it was an amazing experience! It is definitely worth it! We saw many species of seabirds (eagles, puffins, guillemots...) up close in their natural habitat. Our captain was very welcoming and shared with us many interesting facts about the birds and their nesting habits. On the way back we saw several seals, including pups.”

“We were a group of five friends who were primarily going fishing. Maren was our Rib guide, and took us out to a shallow area where within an hour we pulled up about 10kg of ling and pollack. We then spotted a group of killer whales hunting and feeding in the area, and Maren did a great job of getting us close enough and following the group. Very nice service, fantastic experience and definitely recommendable!”

“In the summer of 2023 we first tried a rib boat trip from Nyksund to Stø, and enjoyed it so much that we booked a rib safari to see seabirds and seals the next day. Incredibly nice trip with expert guidance about local bird life and seals by Maren. Really fun with a rib in the waves! We saw lots of different types of birds, and lots of seals. This was one of the highlights of our holiday in the North. Recommended! Feel free to book a rib on the return trip when you have done the Queen's Route and. A refreshing end”

“What an amazing experience. I would give 10 stars if I could. The guide was excellent, cared about making everyone feel comfortable and tried to show us as much as possible. We visited a number of bird islands, saw seals and found killer whales!!! We sailed for 20 minutes near the killer whales and had plenty of time to take pictures and video. In my opinion, Nyksund is worth a visit instead of the crowded villages in West Lofoten.”

“We did a super safari and we saw seals, lots of birds and especially puffins. We were only two on the boat and the captain was really great. He explained to us well all the birds we saw, he lent us binoculars to see better and he got very close to the island of the puffins to see the birds well. If you want to take a safari to see the local wildlife, don't hesitate.”
